Delivery Shortage Tracker eliminates this gap by capturing a product-wise reason for every undelivered quantity, maintaining complete traceability, and providing a dedicated reporting dashboard with PDF and Excel export. Turn every delivery shortage into valuable business information instead of unanswered questions.
Note: This addon is applicable not only to Delivery Orders but also to Receipts and POS Orders, allowing businesses to track and record quantity shortages across different operations.

Module Screenshots & Explanations
Go to Inventory → Operations → Transfers and open the corresponding Delivery Order (DO) created from a Sales Order. The DO displays product lines with ordered quantities.
Update the delivered quantity in the DO lines to reflect the actual shipped amount.
Click Validate. Odoo displays the standard prompt asking whether to Create Backorder or No Backorder.
When No Backorder is selected, a popup appears prompting the user to enter a Reason for Less Delivery.
Navigate to Inventory → Reporting → Delivery Report.
Select one or more records and click Print → Print a PDF or Print a XLSX — the Reason column is included in both exported formats.
